The community kitchen for seniors

The community kitchen for seniors, often referred to as a collective kitchen or shared kitchen, is an approach that promotes the preparation and sharing of meals within a community of seniors. This practice aims to promote the health, conviviality and autonomy of the elderly. The main objective of the Seniors’ Community Kitchen is to promote a healthy and balanced diet while strengthening social ties within the community. It can also help reduce social isolation by providing seniors with opportunities to gather regularly for a meal.

Sports activity between seniors

This activity allows seniors to stay active, promote physical and mental health, and strengthen social connections within the community. Participating in activities provides seniors with the opportunity to build important social ties. Friendships created on the ground can extend off the field, fostering an important social support network for older adults.

Health & Wellness

Maintaining the health and well-being of older adults is crucial to ensuring fulfilling and active lives as they age. Regular exercise is essential for maintaining the physical health of seniors. This can include walking, swimming, cycling, tai chi, yoga, or other activities that suit their abilities. Physical activity helps maintain muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and cardiovascular health.
